Finance Operations Associate

Summary

We’re looking for ambitious accountants to join our growing team in India.  You’ll be working remotely whilst working with some of the most exciting startups in Europe across a range of industries with our young and dynamic team across India and the UK.

Our technology and systems make managing the finance function a smooth process.  That means you can focus on solving interesting problems, not repetitive tasks.

About the role

  • Completing weekly and monthly finance tasks according to bespoke processes set up by our Finance Operations Manager.
  • Carrying out regular transaction processing across a portfolio of clients, managing and recording your work in our task management system.
  • Overseeing the month-end close process, including identifying and posting the journals required.
  • Carrying out analytical reviews of your own work, and that of other members of the team, to help identify and resolve anomalies.
  • Helping to manage client finance inboxes using our collaborative mailbox tool.  Triage and respond to inbound emails as appropriate.
  • Collating information for monthly payroll filings and create draft pay-runs.
  • Overseeing our credit control process on behalf of clients where appropriate, including scheduling outbound emails and filtering responses.
  • Coordinating closely with our teams in London by video calls, using our task management system, and by messenger.
