Then the pandemic hit, reducing the VC funding market with 2019 and 2020 showing a flat profile. 😑
VC’s doubled down on the market in 2021 and came back looking for great investment opportunities - with huge growth 🌱 in ‘early stage’ startups as they seek returns on riskier bets.
We’re seeing this continue into 2022 with some of our favourite Companies, Payfit and Spendesk, becoming Unicorns in the first month of the year.
VC’s are fueling innovative, early-stage businesses, which is alright with us.
