Are you ready to take the next step in your career?
Join us as a startup accountant
If you’re an experienced accountant looking to take the next step, we could have the perfect challenge for you. In this role you'll build experience working with some of the most exciting startups and technology companies in London.
Our technology and systems make managing the accounts a smooth process, ensuring that you have access to the information you need, when you need it. They facilitate flexible, remote working so that you can fit your work around your life.
This role involves working with our Finance Business Partners in London to implement and operate effective systems across a range of great clients. You'll get exposure across the finance function including month end close, bespoke reporting, taxes and payroll.
We're looking for talented accountants, with at least two years of relevant experience. We have roles available for both qualified and part qualified accountants.
You must be proficient in using online tools such as Xero, Quickbooks and ReceiptBank.
We use a wide range of systems across our practice and with our clients, so you must be comfortable learning to use new technology quickly.
If you prefer to work using your own systems and spreadsheets then this role is not suitable for you.
Experience operating payroll, statutory accounts or UK taxes is extremely beneficial.
We are open to applications from overseas, but excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English is essential.
We are looking for candidates who are happiest working independently, and who take ownership of solving problems. The role is not suitable for someone who likes to receive detailed step by step coaching.
Quantico provides all the benefits of in-house finance teams, without the cost or effort of hiring. At the core of our service is a guarantee to provide a fixed number of days a month of working directly in our clients’ offices. Unlike outsourced accountants, this enables us to work collaboratively across the business and to take work off the founders’ plates, without having to agree to separate scopes of work.
Our clients come to us because they need access to a range of skill-sets, able to start almost immediately.
Our solution means that they don’t have to worry about recruitment, training, holiday cover or vetting employees in a highly technical area.
Whilst we are primarily looking for full-time candidates, we also have work available for part-time positions or temporary contractors.
